Dementia Awareness Week

The dementia diagnosis rates have fallen dramatically over the past couple of years. Dementia Awareness Week, run an annual campaign week with a different focus each year. This year’s focus was diagnosis. Diagnosis rates have fallen by 30% and GP assessment rates have also fallen by at a similar rate. This feature examines why they are campaigning for improved diagnosis rates and the other campaigns surrounding dementia.
