The Lioness’ victory at the 2022 Euros was a pivotal moment in women’s football in the UK as it brought it to the mainstream which included selling out Old Trafford and Wembley. However, the Lioness’ first game back was held in a stadium with a capacity of 2,000 people. This episode examines whether the Euros has changed the perception of women’s sport and football in the UK and what those involved in the football believe it has done.
